Fahdu Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 06/04/2026
1. Difference Between Cancellation and Refund
Cancellation generally means stopping a future renewal or ending an eligible service before a future charge becomes due.
A refund means returning all or part of an amount that has already been successfully charged.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle the user to a refund for a billing period that has already commenced or for digital content or services that have already been delivered, unlocked, accessed or consumed.Refund eligibility is determined separately under FAHDU’s Refund Policy and applicable law.
2. Creator Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
Certain creator subscriptions on FAHDU may automatically renew at the end of the applicable billing period where the user has expressly selected a recurring subscription and authorised the applicable recurring payment method or mandate.
Before subscribing, the user should be shown, as applicable: the creator or subscription selected, subscription price, applicable taxes, billing period, whether the subscription automatically renews, applicable benefits, renewal terms and relevant cancellation/refund conditions.
FAHDU will not intentionally treat a one-time purchase as a recurring subscription without the user’s affirmative authorisation.
3. How to Cancel a FAHDU Subscription
Users may cancel an active creator subscription directly through FAHDU using either of the following methods:
Method 1 — Through Subscription Settings
Log in to FAHDU → Settings → Subscriptions → Select the relevant subscription → Cancel / Unsubscribe → Confirm cancellation
Method 2 — Through the Creator’s Profile
Log in to FAHDU → Open the relevant Creator Profile → Tap/Click the three-dot menu (⋮) → Select “Unsubscribe” → Confirm cancellation
Both methods are intended to cancel future renewal of the selected creator subscription.
A cancellation will be treated as successfully recorded once FAHDU:
- displays a successful cancellation/unsubscription confirmation; or
- updates the relevant subscription status in the user’s account to show that future renewal has been cancelled.
Users are encouraged to verify that the subscription status reflects the cancellation and retain any confirmation displayed by FAHDU for their records.
If the cancellation option is temporarily unavailable because of a technical issue, the user may contact contact@fahdu.com from their registered email address and provide sufficient details to identify the subscription, including where available:
- FAHDU username or User ID;
- creator name/username;
- subscription details; and
- a screenshot of the issue.
FAHDU will review the request and relevant account records and assist with cancellation where the request can be verified.
Important: Cancelling a creator subscription stops future renewal after the cancellation becomes effective. It does not ordinarily reverse the subscription period that has already been paid for, and any refund request will be considered separately under the FAHDU Refund Policy.
4. When Cancellation Takes Effect
A user may request cancellation of an auto-renewing subscription at any time before the next renewal is processed.
To minimise the possibility of a renewal already entering processing, users are encouraged to cancel at least 24 hours before the displayed renewal date.
Once a valid cancellation becomes effective: no further subscription renewal should be initiated by FAHDU under that cancelled subscription, subject to any transaction that had already entered processing before the cancellation became effective.
Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewals. It does not ordinarily terminate access that has already been paid for.
Unless otherwise stated, the user may continue to access the applicable subscription benefits until the end of the current paid subscription period.
5. Cancellation After a Renewal Has Already Been Charged
If a recurring subscription has already successfully renewed before the cancellation became effective, cancellation will ordinarily apply to the next renewal cycle.
The successfully renewed period will generally remain active through its applicable term.
A request to reverse the latest renewal will be considered separately under the FAHDU Refund Policy and applicable law.
Where FAHDU verifies that the user successfully cancelled before renewal but was nevertheless charged because of a FAHDU-controlled technical or processing error, FAHDU may reverse the charge, process an eligible refund, restore credits, or take another appropriate corrective action after verification.
6. No Cancellation Fee
FAHDU does not charge users a separate cancellation fee merely for cancelling the future renewal of a creator subscription.
This does not mean that payments already validly charged for a current billing period are automatically refundable.
7. Fixed-Term or Non-Renewing Subscriptions
If a subscription is expressly offered as a fixed-term, prepaid or non-auto-renewing plan, it will ordinarily expire automatically at the end of the purchased period and no cancellation may be required to prevent renewal.
The applicable checkout or subscription screen should indicate whether a subscription is recurring or non-recurring.
8. One-Time Digital Purchases
Certain FAHDU transactions are one-time digital purchases rather than subscriptions. These may include:
paid or locked content, PPV content, paid messages or chats, digital access, livestream access, tips, wishlist payments, Fahdu Coins/Credits and other one-time creator interactions.
Once such a digital product or service has been successfully delivered, unlocked, activated, accessed, credited or consumed, there is ordinarily no future service to cancel. Any request for reversal or refund will instead be governed by the Refund Policy.
9. FAHDU Coins / Credits
A purchase of FAHDU Coins or platform credits is generally treated as delivered once the applicable paid Coins/Credits have been successfully credited and made available in the user’s FAHDU account.
A completed recharge cannot ordinarily be “cancelled” after delivery merely because the user changes their mind or no longer intends to use the credits. Failed, duplicate, incorrect or unauthorised transactions may be reviewed in accordance with the Refund Policy and Coins & Credit Policy.
10. Paid Chats and Digital Content
A paid chat/message generally cannot be cancelled once it has been successfully sent or the associated paid functionality has been made available.
Locked or PPV content generally cannot be cancelled once the user has successfully unlocked or obtained access to the purchased content.
Where the relevant service was not delivered because of a verified technical failure, duplicate deduction or other qualifying issue, the matter may be reviewed under the Refund Policy.
11. Voice and Video Calls
A user may end an ongoing voice or video interaction at any time. Charges properly accrued for a successfully connected or otherwise verifiably delivered billable portion of a call are not cancelled merely because the user later ends the interaction.
Where a connection fails, the service is not delivered, an incorrect deduction occurs or a verified FAHDU-side technical problem materially prevents the interaction, FAHDU may review relevant connection, duration, transaction and technical records in accordance with the Refund Policy.
If FAHDU subsequently introduces advance-booked or scheduled paid calls, the specific cancellation window shown at the time of booking will apply in addition to this Policy.
12. Livestreams and Digital Events
Where a user purchases access to a livestream or other digital event, cancellation may not be available once the event has commenced or the purchased access has been successfully made available or used.
If FAHDU or the relevant creator cancels a paid event before delivery, or the service cannot be provided because of a verified platform-side failure, FAHDU may provide replacement access, restore eligible Coins/Credits, reschedule the service, or process an eligible refund depending on the circumstances.
13. Tips and Wishlist Payments
Tips and completed wishlist payments are voluntary user-initiated transactions and generally cannot be cancelled once successfully confirmed and transferred within the platform.
Duplicate transactions, unauthorised payments, incorrect deductions, technical errors, fraud or policy violations may be reviewed separately under the Refund Policy.
14. App Store and Third-Party Billing
Where the subscription or purchase is billed and controlled by a third-party platform, cancellation may need to be completed through that platform rather than directly through FAHDU.
Apple App Store / iOS Purchases
For users accessing FAHDU through the iOS application, FAHDU Coins may be purchased through Apple’s in-app payment system.
Creator subscriptions on FAHDU are not charged as recurring Apple App Store subscriptions. Instead, the applicable creator subscription amount is deducted from the user’s FAHDU Credits / Coin Balance in accordance with the subscription terms displayed on the platform.
Users are therefore responsible for maintaining a sufficient FAHDU Coin Balance before the applicable subscription renewal date.
If the user does not have sufficient Coins available at the time of renewal, the subscription may:
- fail to renew;
- remain pending where technically applicable; or
- expire or become inaccessible until the required payment is successfully completed.
Cancelling a Creator Subscription
A user who wishes to stop future renewal of a creator subscription should cancel the subscription within FAHDU, using the applicable subscription-management option:
FAHDU → Settings → Subscriptions → Select Creator Subscription → Cancel / Unsubscribe
Cancellation prevents subsequent FAHDU subscription renewals after it becomes effective. Unless otherwise stated, access already purchased will ordinarily continue until the end of the current paid subscription period.
Because creator subscriptions are charged from the user’s FAHDU Coin Balance, cancelling or modifying subscriptions through the user’s Apple Account does not ordinarily cancel a creator subscription within FAHDU.
Google Play
Where a subscription is billed through Google Play, the user should manage or cancel it through the Google Play subscription settings.
Google states that uninstalling an app does not itself cancel an active Google Play subscription.
15. Recurring Payment Mandates
Where a subscription uses an eligible recurring payment mandate, the user may also have rights to manage, opt out of or revoke the mandate through their bank, card issuer, UPI application or other payment provider, depending on the payment method.
Withdrawal or revocation of a valid recurring mandate generally prevents future recurring debits through that mandate, subject to transactions already in processing and applicable payment-system rules.
Where possible, users should also cancel the corresponding subscription within FAHDU so that the subscription status and payment status remain synchronised.
Revoking a payment mandate does not by itself create a right to refund charges that were validly completed before revocation.
16. Creator Cancels or Discontinues a Subscription
A creator may discontinue a subscription plan, stop offering a particular benefit or cease operating on FAHDU.
Where reasonably possible, existing subscribers should continue to receive the access already purchased until the end of their paid subscription period.
Where material paid access cannot be provided for the remainder of the period through no fault of the user, FAHDU may, depending on the circumstances and applicable law: provide replacement access, restore eligible Coins/Credits, provide equivalent access, issue a proportionate adjustment, or process a full or partial refund.
Future renewals relating to a discontinued subscription should be stopped.
17. Cancellation or Suspension by FAHDU
FAHDU may suspend, restrict, discontinue or cancel a subscription, transaction, feature or account where reasonably necessary because of:
fraud, unauthorised payment activity, chargebacks, safety concerns, violation of FAHDU policies, prohibited content or conduct, legal or regulatory requirements, payment-partner requirements, creator account termination, material technical issues, or other circumstances permitted under the FAHDU Terms of Service.
Where a paid service is terminated because of the user’s material breach of FAHDU policies, refund eligibility will be determined under the Refund Policy and applicable law.
Where FAHDU unilaterally cancels an eligible paid service for reasons not attributable to the user and is unable to provide the purchased service, FAHDU will consider an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
18. Subscription Price or Plan Changes
Creators or FAHDU may change subscription prices, benefits or plan structures from time to time.
Where a change affects a future renewal, the new price or material terms should be disclosed in accordance with the applicable checkout, billing-provider rules and applicable law.
Where renewed consent is legally or technically required, the renewal will be subject to such consent. Users who do not wish to continue after a proposed change may cancel before the affected renewal is processed.
19. Failed Renewal
A subscription may fail to renew because of insufficient funds, expired payment credentials, revoked mandate, payment-provider rejection, regulatory requirements or another payment failure.
If a renewal is not successfully completed, FAHDU may suspend or end subscription benefits after the current paid period expires. A failed or declined renewal is not treated as a successful charge.
20. Deleting the App Does Not Cancel a Subscription
Uninstalling or deleting the FAHDU app does not by itself cancel an active subscription.
Users must use the applicable cancellation process described in this Policy. Where a subscription is controlled by Apple, Google or another billing provider, users must cancel through the applicable provider.
21. Account Deletion and Active Subscriptions
Requesting or completing deletion of a FAHDU account does not automatically reverse previously completed transactions.
Before deleting an account, users should cancel any active recurring subscriptions and review pending transactions, unused balances and open refund requests.
Where an Apple, Google or other third-party subscription remains active, account deletion within FAHDU may not automatically cancel the external billing mandate. Please also review FAHDU’s Account Deletion Policy.
22. Accidental or Unauthorised Transactions
If a user believes that a subscription or payment was created or renewed without their authorisation, they should contact FAHDU promptly at contact@fahdu.com and provide sufficient information to identify the transaction.
FAHDU may review account records, payment records, device/session information, subscription records, mandate information and payment-provider confirmation.
Users may also contact their bank, card issuer, UPI provider or relevant app store where appropriate. Unauthorised-payment claims will be handled in accordance with applicable law, payment-network rules and the Refund Policy.
23. Cancellation Confirmation and Records
FAHDU may retain records relating to:
subscription creation, user consent, mandate or payment authorisation, renewal date, cancellation request, cancellation confirmation, payment status, access period and associated support communications.
These records may be used to investigate billing disputes, refund requests, chargebacks, technical issues, fraud or regulatory inquiries. Retention will remain subject to FAHDU’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.
24. Cancellation Support
If a user is unable to cancel an eligible subscription because of a technical problem, they may contact:FAHDU Support Email: contact@fahdu.com
The request should preferably include the user’s registered email/mobile number, FAHDU username/user ID, creator/subscription concerned, transaction/order ID if available and a screenshot of the issue.
A support request itself will not retroactively cancel a transaction that had already been validly processed before FAHDU received sufficient information to identify and act upon the request, except where required by applicable law or where FAHDU verifies its own technical failure.
25. Grievance Escalation
If a cancellation-related complaint remains unresolved, the user may escalate it in accordance with the FAHDU Grievance Redressal Policy.

26. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
This Policy is governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights and other applicable laws.
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any right that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.
Subject to applicable law, jurisdiction will be governed by the FAHDU Terms of Service.
27. Changes to This Policy
FAHDU may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, payment methods, regulatory obligations, app-store requirements or business operations.
Any revised version will state its effective or last-updated date. Changes will apply prospectively from publication unless applicable law requires otherwise. A later policy revision will not be represented as having applied to transactions that occurred before that revision became effective.
